SAI Platform Australia members enjoyed and benefited from the 2022 Field Trip to the Goulburn Valley, Victoria's food bowl. It included a day at the University of Melbourne Dookie campus to see the winery and dairy where members heard from experts and researchers about the challenges and adaptations to climate change. A highlight was a visit to historic Tahbilk Winery to hear about its carbon neutral journey. Other informative and interesting presentations were about the Victorian Drought Resilience and Innovation Hub based at Dookie, Aurora Dairies growth and operations, SAI member Ingham's approach to reducing carbon emissions, the Victorian Agriculture and Climate Change Council, NorVic Foods and the CRC for High Performance Soils.
